Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director, famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. He is a versatile actor who is skilled in playing comedy in addition to dramatic parts. His work has led him to play a variety of characters who are romantic, as well as appearing in a few action thrillers. He began to take an interest in performing and acting while the age of his teens and attempted stand-up comedy as young men. Although his stand-up show wasn't a success, it did to open the way for his acting. Inability to make it as a comedian he took up a job as a television cameraman in a cable station. He realized his real love was behind the camera when he was working at the station. After that, he was offered a TV part, playing several episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a naturally gifted actor, and quickly became a household name on the television. His comedic roles made him famous and he commenced a career as a filmmaker with high ambitions. His fame grew for his portrayal of the famous Batman as Tim Burton's Batman. With time he matured as an actor, and started to pursue direction and production. In the film Birdman (2014) the actor was awarded numerous nominations and awards.
