Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. Other Oscar nominated movies featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. In the past, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of important international and national productions. They comprise British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as in addition to the French historical miniseries Napoleon. She also remained member of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
